It
is widely believed that Indians going abroad for higher studies
eventually come back to India. But I have rarely seen such phenomenon,
unless there was a financial crisis or else Visa had expired or due to
stricter immigration policies. Majority
of them go abroad leaving their parents back home in India and they
occasionally visit India, may be once in two years. I know many old
parents who crave to meet their children and can chat with their
children only online or over the phone but they rarely visit them. I
know many a times, the children fail to return back to India even during
their parents' funeral. I feel all this to be a strange phenomena which
is beyond my understandings !!
