Veteran actor Farooq Shaikh passed away in the age of 65 in Dubai due to heart attack.Shaikh had acted in more than 50 movies and ‘Club 60’ is last movie in which he played character of Dr Tarique.
Shaikh also played the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s father in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’.
He had also acted in TV series like ‘Tumhari Amrita’ with famous actress Shabana Azmi and presented ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai.’
Shaikh won the 2010 National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for ‘Lahore’.
