Mirza ghalib ka pata...

Ballimaran ke mahalle ki wo pechida daleelon ki see galiyan
Saamne taal ke nukkad pe bateron ke posheede
Gud-gudaati hui paan pi peekon mein wo daad wo wah-wah
Isee be-noor andheri see gali qaasim se
Ek tarteeb chiragon kee shuru hoti hai
Ek quran-e-sukhan ka safa khulta hai
Asadallah Khan Ghalib ka pata milta hai.
Dear Friends, if you don't understand the meaning of some of the words, it beautifully captures the sentiments you would experience when you visit Ghalib’s Haveli in Gali Qaasim Jaan in Old Delhi, even today..
you need to visit old Delhi to understand this completely.. the chaotic lanes & crowded lanes of Old Delhi where once Ghalib lived...
Pecheedaa daleel is a complex argument. which is similar to the lanes of Old Delhi
Katra is a small local market of Chandni Chowk..
Chooriwaalaan is the lane which sold bangles
Bee refers to an old woman ..
whose vision is failing...and she finds difficulty in locating her door
From this dark alleys one of the brightest stars of literature had emerged
one such series of lamps begins from this gali qaasim..(Quasim lane)..
which leads further on to the brightest star of our history called Mirza Ghalib.
