My Facebook Valentine...

Dear friends, Valentine week has already started, you all know that I am a married person and have a great family life. But I was just wondering, who'd be my Facebook Valentine...??
I am a spiritual, simple and a complete family man and I'm an extremely emotional and sensitive person in real life.
Now, let me introduce you to my Facebook Valentine.
She is my guide, friend, well wisher and my greatest admirer.
She has read my cent percent blogs, Notes and status updates.
She must have watched all of my video clippings on YouTube umpteen times.
I have never met her but I would be happiest person to meet her.
She belongs to Rajahmundry, presently lives with her family at Bilaspur, Chhatisgarh. She's done her MA in English from Bilaspur.
Her name is Palla Vaidehi...
And she's my Facebook Valentine...
Happy Valentine week dear friends...

mulaakat

Meri aankhon ko usi ki talaash rehti hai
saans bhi loon toh khushboo usi ki aati hai
shayree karna usi ne sikhaya
pyar mein behosh hona bhi
uski baaton mein ek nasha hai
uski hansi mano meri muskaan ban gayi hai
parchhayee uski mere dil o dimaag mein bani hai
har lamha mera usi ne churaya hai
nadaan hain hum
hairaan hai ham
apne isee sawalon se
pareshan hai ham ki
kya sapne mein woh mil jaye
toh mulakaat kahenge ham...??

Laughter, the best medicine...

Every minute of life can be full of laughter
but, we rarely relish the humorous aspect of our daily chores...
just now, I made a call to my operation room staff and passed on an urgent message to the staff in a nurse's voice that Anaesthesiologist to be called immediately as there is an emergency Caesarean. The OT staff called me and gave the message immediately and when I told them that it was I who made the call, the entire OT staff gave a hearty laugh, I rarely saw them laughing so much.
Once, I made a call to a young nurse at late hours and spoke to her in our physician's voice, next day, we all witnessed the unusual scene where the physician was being reprimanded by the young nurse.
I really feel, everybody should try doing a bit of mimicry once in a while to ease tension in everyday's life and for doing mimicry you have to forget your own voice and your own problems to understand the other's perspective and you may have put yourself in another person's shoes.
Now, do enjoy my mimicry, where I have emulated few Bollywood actor's voices...

Chill Maar...

Four years ago when I joined Facebook
my wife was a bit skeptical about the existence of Facebook
she told me it won't last for long
and it is a passing fad
interestingly, I joined Twitter, google plus, whatsapp and many other...
but Facebbok is not a passing fad
it is here to stay
dear friends, facebook is anything but a passing fad
if you don't believe this
take a chill pill
kuchh samjhe...??

Maa

A chance meeting with a friend on Facebook can become a turning point in my life...I never knew that...she was my Andhra Medcl Collg alumni but much much junior..she advised me to start writing as the best way of diminishing the pain of losing my mother on 4 February ( tomorrow ) in 2010.
Since then hundreds of my letters were published in the Hindustan Times and Deccan Chronicle and various magazines. Interestingly, I was computer illiterate just fours years ago. But now, I know quite a lot about computers.
I was indoctrinated into writers club of Facebook after my initial exposure to the status updates of Sanjay Kapoor sir, where I used to comment on all his posts. Through him, I could meet my best friends of Facebook...dear Archna Pant,Meenakshi JainPartha SarathyMohammad Shahabuddin( who's celebrating his birthday today ), Barnali BhattacharyaAwadhesh ShuklaRajeev Ranjan sir, Vishan Prakash sir, Pravin LamaRekha Tyagi Shukla et al... who shaped my thinking and writing skills.
My Urdu improved after my exposure to the poems and shayree of Ravindra Arora,Amit Harsh,Rachna Hemant, Asmit Rathod and many more...
Dear Pramila Rao helped me in uploading and editing hundreds of my live performances on youtube which made me almost a celebrity.
There must be more 400 Notes of mine published in Facebook and hundreds of my professional notes in Anaesthesia forums...
I was highly influenced by the write-ups of Dr Ampat Koshy sir and Bina Biswas and of course, Dr Sayantan Gupta sir ( also a Gynaecologist )
I started writing my own blogs and more than 500 blogs are already read by thousands of my friends on Facebook.
I never wasted a minute without networking. In my leisure time I recorded many poems of Archna Pant, Ampat sir, Amit Harsh, Ravindra Arora sir and the works ofAnkur Gupta sir on my ordinary mobile phone and uploaded them in Sound Cloud...and you can hear many Hindi, Urdu, English, Bengali poems in my Sound Cloud...this was highly appreciated by hundreds of my Anaesthesiology forum members. But today, on this special day, I am going to share with you a poem originally written by Rachna Hemant...Maa...!
Bahut din huve kisi ne maathe par
Haath ghumaya nahee

Tum toh betahaasha chaahtee thi mujhe
Phir kyon aankhe pher lee
Bahut din huve kisi ne Raja beta keh kar bulaya nahee
Tum toh har waqt saaye see chipki rehtee thee
Ab kyon aisee berukhee...?
Bahut din huve kisi ki Goad mein
Sar rakh kar soya nahee
Tum toh meri dhoop se bachane waali chhaanv thi
Bahut din huve woh pyari see awaaz sunayi nahee di
Tum toh din bhar mujhse baate karti thakti nahee thi
Tere is tarah achaanak jana naasoor sa bana hai zakhmo par
Hansta bhi hun, muskrata bhi hun, duniyadari bhi nibhata hun
magar bahut din huve chehre par khul kar hansi nahi aayee...( By Rachna Hemant )

Are you unhappy...??

Dear Friends, I would like to say few words about happiness and unhappiness.
Frankly, nobody can be happy for long and the same applies to unhappiness too.
Interestingly, unhappy people are more aware about their life goals...they know exactly what to achieve and they constantly strive hard to change their life for better.
Happiness is a state of mind and different things may make different people happy..or contented with their life...
I would request my friends to kindly lead an active life without planning too much for tomorrow...
Active life is essential for a happy and contented life...
Just do it...
