Wanna Live Longer...??

Do you know, if you are a vegetarian, you may live longer ?
Vegetables, fruits, legumes( peas, beans ) can reduce Cancer.
They can also reduce your waist size and chances of heart disease.
They can reduce your BMI ( Body Mass Index ) and getting Diabetes type 2.
BTW, lean people normally avoid smoking ( strange ! )
And yes, lean people exercise more ( still strange !! )
Add a decade more to your life, become Vegetarians...!!

I, Me aur Main...


Just saw the movie, I, Me aur Main. Interesting story with a message. John Abraham as a selfish person was convincing, Prachee Desai really acted well, but the best performance was of Chitrangadha Singh. The story looks real and depicts typical lifestyle in a metro. The movie is of less than two hours and you feel well entertained. Zarina Wahaab and Mini Mathur in small roles were impressive. Last song was well shot and the last scene was perfect. Recommended.

Blogging...

This is my third month of blogging. I never thought that I would be blogging my views online and start almost an online diary. It was a great experience, I suddenly discovered many new passions which I never thought upon earlier. I improved my writing skills and articulation of my thoughts. Most importantly, I realized my views are being read constantly online even when I am not online. My blogging site has far exceeded ten thousand views in just more than two months of blogging. I must thank my readers and would like to request them to write freely their opinion on my blogspot.

Mental Exercises...for long life...

We all know about physical exercises, how about mental exercises ?
Mental exercises can delay dementia and can prolong our life. Stop spending time in front of your TV, increase your reading, playing and learning new things. Go to new places, meet new friends, memorize new songs. Don't carry your notebook all the time, try to memorize the shopping list and phone numbers. If you can, play crossword or doing a puzzle. Don't remain isolated, keep company of friends, relatives or pets. I am sure, you'd never know the meaning of Alzheimer's disease, with these activities !!

Fitness...

Dear Friends, quit your sedentary lifestyle. Happiness and good health are the two most essential ingredients to make a great recipe, called Life. We must live a long and a happy life. Only fitness can help us achieve our dreams. Everybody knows that regular exercise can reduce chances of heart disease, but how many of us follow a strict fitness regime ? And yes, fitness can make us dynamic and creative. I love giving small tips to improve everyday life.

Do we Love China...??

It is strange, we hate China, but love everything Chinese, be it Chinese food, toys, China made mobile phones, electronics...list is endless. Everybody knows that buying cheaper Chinese products can reduce Diwali expenses. Chinese Holi water toys, sprinklers ( Pichkari ), colorful perfumed sprays are being preferred over Indian products all over India. On our first date, we go to a Chinese restaurant ! Rakhies are being imported and we also import Ganesha idols during Diwali...strange...!! Is India Shining with products, " Made in China ?? "
