Will power is like a muscle, the more you train it, stronger it gets. When I moved to Eluru from Hyderabad my wife challenged me that I won't last in Eluru for more than a month... because she knew about me so very well being my life partner for the last 35 years. Well, I lasted very well in Eluru and going strong. She must have thought, I'm used to urban lifestyle, five star food on a daily basis and of course my regular stage shows at RSI Secunderabad and my regular tennis 🎾. But she's definitely wrong ... although I'm passionate about those things...but my career and my professional life took precedence... Col Pradeep Pendyala, Professor, ASRAM

Discipline
Many people often ask me, how do I manage to do so many things each day. Answer is very simple...self discipline. Self discipline helps you to focus on your goals. It helps you stick to the work you want to get it done in order to achieve success. When you are focused on your goal, you will complete every single thing that needs to be done. Discipline in student's life is very important as it helps you to achieve career's goals. Being in discipline means following a set of certain rules, regulations and showcasing a proper code of behavior. A disciplined lifestyle always leads to success, be it academic, health, business or profession.... Trust me ... PP.
Don't let anyone Stop you
Never let other people's opinions stop you 😉...dear friends, I sing songs for my own pleasure and when I record or sing at various functions, it gives me immense happiness...those are the best moments of my life ...I really enjoy singing those songs. Well, when I started uploading my videos on YouTube ...some of my friends made some vitriolic comments on my singing ability. A lady friend advised me to first obtain classical singing training for five years thereafter I should record my songs. But I never let anyone's opinion stop me ...I kept singing and recording my songs. As of now, I have thousands of songs on my YouTube channel. And yes, I won countless prizes both at state level and national level. I could sing live with many celebrity singers... Col Pradeep Pendyala Professor ASRAM
Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of medical sciences
Today, I've completed five months at Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences as Professor of Anaesthesiology. It's named after the famous freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju. There's something common between both of us...he's a warrior against the British and I'm well trained warrior of Army for 33 years and now a warrior against covid 19. The similarities don't stop here ... he's born on 4 July ...I was born on 6 July. Well, the college and the hospital are located in a vast area of 100 acres very close to Gannavaram ( vijaywada ) airport. Chairman of the institute is Sri Gokaraju Gangaraju sir. The faculty is amazingly good. It's my proud privilege to be associated with ASRAM. Col Pradeep Pendyala Professor ASRAM.

Thereafter, I compered nearly cent percent Army Medical Corps Day celebrations till the time I retired in 2015. My first Army sports day compering was in 1993 thereafter, I must have compered 25 Army sports day functions which must be a record which can never be broken. My first Mceeing and compering the function of RSI Secunderabad was in 2011. Thereafter, I was the host for almost all functions at RSI Secunderabad. ...Col Pendyala Pradeep

Role of English in science
Your good English accent and good command over English makes a huge difference especially when you're seen and heard in conferences. I keep telling this mantra to my post graduate students almost everyday. Recently, I attended one scientific conference online... incidentally, the second speaker was well informed but the first speaker made quite an impact only due to his better English language. Who says there's no role of language in science? I insist on correct spelling, correct pronunciation when a person speaks or writes English. Wrong spelling reflects your casual attitude towards vigilance and constant vigilance is of paramount importance in Anaesthesiology.

How to become a genius...
You feel extremely nice whenever someone addresses you as a genius 😉. Well, today I'm going to tell you actually how to become a genius. For becoming a genius you need to have an IQ of 140 or above, which may not be possible for everyone. But, you can definitely work hard and improve your knowledge and skills. If you are very keen to increase your IQ and want to be called real genius, let me tell you, geniuses are mostly made, not born. Start engaging yourself in stimulating conversation, read, read and read, take online courses and yes, never miss doing ten to fifteen minutes of aerobic exercise everyday. Good luck 👍 Col Pradeep Pendyala, Anaesthesiologist.
