Nobody knows that my own uncle was once deputy speaker of 6th Lok Sabha...Sri Godey Murahari. I stayed with him in Delhi when he's a MP during 1975. He's also Rajya Sabha deputy chairman during 1972-77. He started his political career along with Sri George Fernandes of Samata Party an
d later joined Indian National Congress. Well, you can see me in this picture along with the then Defence Minister, Sri George Fernandes when he had visited the Bhachau sector of Bhuj during the well known Earthquake of 2001. I was in charge of the Operation Theatre of Bhachau for a record period of three months during those earthquake and aftershocks. I must have given anaesthesia to thousands of people those days at Bhachau and interestingly, not a single death.
