Intelligence and happiness...

Strange but true...intelligent people are rarely very happy people...Intelligent people tend to over analyze everything around them which makes them unhappy. Intelligent people have a better understanding of everything and when that optimum standard is not achieved by the average intelligent people around them, it leaves them disappointed and frustrated. They actually feel everything around them as under worked and nothing meets their high standards. Ernest Hemingway rightly said once that happiness in intelligent person is the rarest thing he knew. An intelligent person is likely to have low self esteem of himself and a little pride because they judge themselves too hard. They love to question everything, if you analyse their minds, you will only find huge question marks in their brains and there will be no place to breathe and relax. Gossips, Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram are rarely their things, Meaningful conversations with the right person would probably make them happy, but finding such a person is not an easy job. I don't mean to say that every intelligent person has a psychological problem but yes, they are likely to develop one. Their analysis of everything can lead them to analyze life and death too harshly and consequently make them depressed people. Depression and anxiety are the two most common problems with such intelligent people with high IQs. So dear friends, be happy and stop complaining that you are not too smart and too intelligent...
