We Indians regard you as the first female superstar. Sridevi was a complete show stealer in all her movies. Mr.India was described as one of the most iconic films of its time, famously joked that the film should have been named Miss India. Sridevi's imitation of Charlie Chaplin in the film was described by the as the most hilarious act she has ever done. Her mobile face expressions could give Jim Carrey sleepless nights. Her biggest plus point was her ability to be completely uninhibited in front of the camera.The song Kaate Nahi Kat Te was chosen as the most famous rain song in Bollywood till date. A decade into her entry in Hindi films Sridevi had two of her biggest hits, Mr India (1987) and Chaalbaaz (1989), both films changing her destiny. In Chandni, Sridevi reinvented herself in her more urbane classy avatar, not to forget Chandni O Meri Chandni song which she sang in her own voice.
