Udhta Hyderabad

I live in Secunderabad and naturally, I love twin cities Hyderabad-Secunderabad. I don't want Hyderabad to be ever called Udhta Hyderabad in future...I'm sure, you all know about Udhta Punjab. Drugs have been around in Hyderabad since the IT boom in 2000 but the recent India Today's investigation decodes the drug network in Hyderabad, and also the role of some celebrities. Substances commonly abused by students in college include: Marijuana, prescription medications including stimulants, central nervous system depressants, Ketamine, narcotics, over-the-counter drugs, cocaine, heroin and ecstasy. Vast majority of substance-related problems start on college campuses. Dubbed as the study drug, Adderall and other stimulants are increasing in popularity among college students who are facing pressure to meet their academic requirements and unemployment. College students have greater access to drugs today than they've had in the past. Let us save our Hyderabad from Drug menace and from becoming Udhta Hyderabad. Col Pendyala Pradeep, Anaesthesiologist.
